MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Boxing - Middleweight Champs Win Contests. DESCRIPTION: At Sydney, Empire middle-weight champion Dave Sands beat the American coloured boxer, Irvin Steen on points. In Paris, Laurent Dauthuille dealt severely with Jean Walzack who was forced to retire. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Couple boxing in ring. Various shots Dave Sands & Irvin Steen boxing. Sands knocks him down in eighth round. Various shots fighting & Sands declared winner, audience cheering. At Paris - Dauthuille & Walzack boxing, various shots, the former flooring the latter several times, & really pasting him. Walzack seconds throw in the towel. Cheers boo & cheer.
