MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Eisenhower Takes Over. DESCRIPTION: The supreme commander of the North Atlantic Treaty Forces in Europe got busy immediately he arrived in Paris. He met M Schuman and Field Marshal Montgomery. Meetings followed with Monsieur Moch, Monsieur Pleven and General Juin. General Eisenhower summed up his aims in a brief talk. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. CU Guards present arms. Paris - Eisenhower alights from car, enters the Quai d’Orsay. Interior shakes hands with Schuman. Group of Ike, Pleven, Schuman, Moch. SCU Eisenhower & Pleven.
