- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: A Strange Invention & Snow Scenes. DESCRIPTION: From Lexington, Massachusetts, comes a bright idea. With compressed air, water, tubing and a few sprinklers (someone has discovered) you can make snow! Here in Britain (as you may have noticed) quite a lot of snow has been made recently - but not by man. What we need here is an effective snow prevention invention. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Workman placing piping lengths together. In Lexington, Mass., ditto as key scenes. Fixing sprays, starting up motor. Water spraying out forming thin layer of snow. MS showing thick layers of snow, invention still working. Kids tobogganing, others skiing on self-made snow. Mix to England, GV Shere, Surrey, village covered in snow. SCU robin on signpost. Car into camera along snowy road. Thick snow in country scenes. In London, elevated GV of Soho Square, covered in snow. In Oxford Street, people walking along, snowing hard, several shots. Traffic passes along, bus passing camera, during snowstorm.
