MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Harewood Heir Christened. DESCRIPTION: At the fourteenth century church in the grounds of Harewood House, Yorkshire, Dr Garbett, Archbishop of York, performed the christening ceremony. The service was attended by the Princess Royal, Mr & Mrs Stein (the Countess’s parents), Lord Harewood’s brother and Mr Benjamin Britten, one of the godparents. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. MS Church in grounds of the above. Tenants walk along church pathway into camera. Dr Garbett alights from car & enters church. Car arrives Princess Royal alights, pan to Lord Harewood waiting outside church. Countess of Harewood alights after nurse with baby to be christened. Interior - group shot - Mr & Mrs Stein, Gerald Lascelles, Benjamin Britten. Lord & Lady Harewood, Princess Royal & baby - David Henry George. SCU of baby in arms of mother & father seated alongside. Several shots of the above mentioned.
