Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Skipper Brown of England (Cricket) Speaks to Movietone. DESCRIPTION: Movietone interviews FR Brown, the England Test Captain for the Australian tour, at his home at Drayton, near Daventry. Sydney Cricket Ground, where one of the Test matches will be played, was the scene of Australia’s 5-2 victory over England in the final Rugby League Test match which was played on a field of mud. SHOTLIST: KS. Mr & Mrs Brown with family walks across their garden. Walk round garden and look at ducks. SCU of duck. Standing outside his house, Brown speaks about the forthcoming team which is going to Australia. Library - GV Sydney Cricket Ground mix to rugby being played on the field. Various shots of Third Rugby League Test being played on pitch which is very, very muddy. Goal being scored. Try score. Players walk off at end of game smothered in mud. Cut-in of crowds cheering etc.
