Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Korea - Strafing Ground Targets. DESCRIPTION: Reinforcements arrive at an unnamed port in South Korea. They move up to the front under the command of General Walker, with General Dean (later posted as missing). Official American war pictures show one of the first heavy strikes by B29s against North Korean communications and establishments. After the big bombers had done their job, their navy escort fighters shot up an airfield, catching at least one Russian-built plane on the ground. At the front-line outpost, a United Nations delegation question prisoners, meanwhile, determination to halt aggression is again expressed by President Truman. SHOTLIST: KS.
