Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Korea - Latest Film Despatch. DESCRIPTION: As reinforcements leave for Korea, President Truman promises victory, however long the job may take. The aircraft carrier Bataan is leaving Norfolk, Virginia. In Korea, the southern native, under the direction of American troops, build and repair the all-too-few airfields. First the wounded GIs are brought back from the front. Refugees present a problem, following the pattern of all sudden aggressions. Meanwhile, against heavy odds, the Americans fight a vital delaying action. Undoubtedly, their presence has stiffened South Korean defence. SHOTLIST: KS. MS fighter aeroplane.
