- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Army Day. DESCRIPTION: Marching from Wellington Barracks to Hyde Park, a parade of three thousand marked this year’s Army Day. As last year, some women tried to demonstrate with peace placards. In Hyde Park, Field Marshal Sir William Slim took the salute. SHOTLIST: KS. Troops marching, Queen Victoria Memorial in background & Buckingham Palace (Guards). Trucking shots of the Guards marching from Wellington Barracks to Hyde Park. Guards enter Park.
