MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Royal Visit to Festival of Britain Site. DESCRIPTION: The site of the 1951 Festival of Britain begins to take shape. Their Majesties, inspecting progress with Mr Morrison and others, made a prolonged tour of the South Bank area, where the exhibition is to be held. SHOTLIST: KS. Pan of Festival site. Several shots of the building under progress on the site (South Bank - Waterloo Bridge). Festival Hall and Dome of Discovery under construction. Their Majesties with Mr Morrison inspect same. Various shots of models of the finished buildings. King & Queen chat (silent) with workmen. Party walk round also includes Mr Anthony Eden & Clement Davies. King & Queen look at model of exhibition.
