Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Arsenal Win the Cup Final. DESCRIPTION: Movietone presents the Wembley Scene as Liverpool and Arsenal battle for the coveted trophy. It was the London side which received the Cup from the King. SHOTLIST: KS. High elevated shot of stadium, raining. Various crowds shots walking in the rain. Elevated GV crowds inside stadium & quick pan to car park outside stadium. Elevated GV & crowd shot singing "Abide with me". Teams walk out. King out & shakes hands with teams. Toss-up Phil Taylor wins toss from Joe Mercer. Arsenal kick-off. Arsenal attack, Liverpool clears, various elevated GV of play. Liverpool attack hard & almost score. Cut-in of crowds & types (some opticals). Elevated GV of Arsenal attacking, very nice passing shots. Denis Compton takes corner. Logie passes to Lewis who shoots & scores. Crowds cheering.
