MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Anglo-French Naval Manoeuvres. DESCRIPTION: During the Anglo-French naval manoeuvres in the Mediterranean, the spotlight was on the French carrier Arromanches and the British cruiser Liverpool. SHOTLIST: KS. Dusk shot destroyers under way. Aerial of the "Arromanches" aircraft carrier, several (formerly "Colossus"). Aerial (very good) "Liverpool" cruiser. Aboard ship Lord Mountbatten receives Admirals Lambert & Barjot. GV fleets. Aerials of Seafires flying in formation abreast & peeling off, also very good. Taken from carrier, Seafires shooting up carrier, fly over camera, AA gunners return fire. Seafires land on carrier, two shots, with naval "bats" guiding planes in for landing.
