Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Flower Bombardment of Duke & Duchess. DESCRIPTION: The Duke and Duchess of Windsor were involved in the Carnival held in New Orleans on Shrove Tuesday. The carnival is called Mardi Gras and the idea behind it is to have a real jollification before the austerities of Lent. SHOTLIST: KS. GV crowded street with signs flickering. Procession through street during the Mardi Gras, people on floats pelted crowds with flowers including Duke & Duchess of Windsor. Windsors acknowledge cheer of crowds.
