- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Royal Parade of Film Stars. DESCRIPTION: The Royal Family attended the Royal Command Film Performance which was held at the Odeon, Marble Arch. Their Majesties were presented to British and American film stars. The film shown was The Forsythe Saga. SHOTLIST: KS. GV curtains of stage. Crowds outside controlled by police. Royal car arrives, Royal Family alight. Interior (foyer) Royal Family presented to J Arthur Rank after having been received by Mr Reginald Bromhead. Bouquets presented to Queen, Princesses Elizabeth & Margaret by Victoria Hutchinson (daughter of Walter), Anthony Bond (son of Derek) and Brian Hutchinson (son of Johnnie). Royal Family walk to seats in dress circle. Presentations Douglas Fairbanks Jnr., Errol Flynn & Greer Garson, Valerie Hobson, Trevor Howard, Margaret Lockwood, Ben Lyon, John Mills & Bebe Daniels, George Murphy, Anna Neagle, Gregory Peck, John Mills & Walter Pidgeon, Rosalind Russell, next to her is Ralph Richardson, Jean Simmons & Ann Sothern. In foyer King & Queen accepted books of "Forsythe Saga" from Sam Eckman.
