MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Field Marshal Slim in New Delhi. DESCRIPTION: En route to Hong Kong, Field Marshal Slim paid a visit to New Delhi, where he inspected units of the Indian Army. Riding along in a jeep he must have been very impressed by what he saw. SHOTLIST: KS. GV Airport Station & building on perimeter. Slim inspects troops. Slim inspects Indian Army troops from jeep which drives along ranks. Cut-ins ranks of Indian troops at attention. Marchpast Indian troops, including tanks, cut-in Slim taking the salute.
