MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Braemar Gathering. DESCRIPTION: The Royal Family attend the annual Braemar Gathering. SHOTLIST: KS. Massed pipers march into Princess Royal Park. Various shots of events including tossing the caber, swinging the stone and throwing the hammer. Braemar record for throwing the hammer was broken by the Clerk of Dundee, ie 97 feet 6 1/2 inches. Arrival of Royal Family who were welcomed by the Marquess of Aberdeen. The Laird of Invercauld & his wife talk to the King & Queen.
