MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: HMS London Home. DESCRIPTION: After nearly two years in the Far East, HMS London returned to Chatham Dockyard where relatives of the crew waited to welcome the cruiser home. SHOTLIST: KS. MS of "London". HMS "London" nears dock as crowds cheer. CU as she passes through lock. Pan along Paying-Off pennant to White Ensign. Commodore Hodges on gangway. Relatives go aboard and are greeted by ship’s crew. Couple of good ‘kissing’ shots on end.
