Summary
Cruisers captured in Copenhagen. Men of the British Sixth Airborne Division receive a tremendous welcome. Germans leave the city. In Norway, Germans surrender authority to Norwegian officer (Bosch?) [sic], who, according to General Eisenhower’s instructions, refused to shake hands with German officer. Norwegian flag hoisted. In Denmark, King Christian drives to Parliament, Montgomery gets a royal welcome as he drives through the city.
