Summary
General Alexander supervises the supply of reinforcements and Boston aircraft in Monte Cassino, where a Benedictine monastery has been used by the enemy as a fortress. Allies push Germans in Monte Cassino further back, and warn Italians to leave the monastery before the bombing raid. Allied air attack on monastery; fire bombs destroy German machine gun nests on the hillsides.
