Summary: Mr Churchill sets out for an important meeting in Cairo; sets out across desert for Fayum. Churchill meets King Ibn Saud, attend by his two children, and his brother Abdullah at a dinner party. Also present are Lord Killearn and Mr Eden. The Prime Minister has tea with Lord and Lady Killearn at their desert retreat at Kom Oshin. Later he goes to Farouk’s villa to meet the King.
