Summary

Scenes on the Caspian Coast. Herds of sheep and cattle. Primitive nomad people of the area. Gathering tea and grain from the wheatlands of the Volga. Camel drawn carts. The Black Sea - the Caspian Sea - fishermen work under the watchful eyes of the Soviet Navy. A woman trawler captain has set up a new record for the season’s catch and receives official recognition of this in a newspaper.
