Summary
British Prime Minister at the White House with Roosevelt and high British and American Chiefs. The Duke and Duchess of Windsor, Field Marshal Wavell and Admiral Somerville go to the House of Representatives, where Churchill is to broadcast an address. The Prime Minister is met by Mr Sol Bloom, Chairman of Foreign Affairs Committee. Accompanied by Mr Eden, Churchill visits Eisenhower’s headquarters in Tunisia and sees other Allied leaders. The Prime Minister examines a Mark 6 German Tiger Tank. Later, the fighting men gathered in the ancient Carthage ampitheatre cheer him.
