MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Guided Jet Propelled Missile. DESCRIPTION: Over California, the American are testing a jet-propelled missile, and directed by radar from the plane. SHOTLIST: KS Pan of missile. Interior, cut-away shot of mechanism of missile. Missile attached to wing of plane. Aerial - plane in flight. Cut-in ground control HQ talking to pilot of plane, begins to drop, then starts on its flight. Drops into sea on parachute, lying in the sea. Pick up by craft, craft towards camera, with missile attached to stern of same.
