MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: FA Cup - 3rd Round. DESCRIPTION: ARSENAL V SPURS - A smaller crowd than anticipated saw Arsenal beat the Spurs 3-0 at Highbury. EVERTON V MANCHESTER CITY - At Goodison Park the largest crowd of any Cup Final round saw Everton score just before time and so enter the fourth round. NEWCASTLE V BRADFORD - At St James’s Park, crowds watch Newcastle, almost a certain winner, beaten by Bradford City. SHOTLIST: ARSENAL V SPURS - KS Crowd shot. Crowds outside queuing. Crowds through turnstiles into ground. GV large crowds inside, not a record, only 47,000. Elevated GV kick off, after toss up. McPherson (Arsenal) scores. Roper also for Arsenal scores. More play, Lishman scores, making 3-0 to Arsenal. . NB - The players were wearing black armbands in memory of Mayor Sir Samuel Hill-Wood, late Chairman of Arsenal. (113 seconds). EVERTON V MANCHESTER CITY (MUTE) - Crowds, very large. Kick off and general play. Crowds very excited. Various play, no scoring. Hedley of Everton told to leave field, walks off same. Higgins scores for Everton 30 seconds from end of game. Final score 1-0. (73 seconds). NEWCASTLE V BRADFORD CITY (MUTE) - Crowd shots. Football fans walk round pitch. General play. Bradford attack. Newcastle attack, Bradford defending strongly. McIlvenny passes to Downie who scores for Bradford. Bradford attack hard. General play. McIlvenny nets, making final score 2-0. (85 seconds).
