MS jet propelled Vampire. Lettice Curtis in cockpit of Spitfire. Spitfire takes off. Vampire takes off (piloted by Group Captain ‘Cat’s Eyes’ Cunningham not seen). Cut-ins SCU Douglas Fairbanks Jnr & Noel Coward. SCU Valerie Hobson. Various shots of Spitfire performing, breaking record. Cut-in SCU watcher with rather large moustache.
