MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Parachuted Dogs in Arctic Rescue. DESCRIPTION: As part of their training for Arctic rescues Huskies are parachuted onto the frozen wastes. SHOTLIST: KS Labrador Retrievers lifted from lorry into plane. Several shots of same. Aerial shots of plane in flight. Inside plane dogs fitted with parachute harness. Sled driver jumps out of plane (out of camera). Over camera shot of him floating to earth. Over camera sled floats down on two parachutes. Over camera two dogs float down to earth. Ditto one dog floating down, wagging his tail. Several shots dogs harnessed to sled and making their way through thick snow and forests. LS sled approaching wrecked plane in fore. Countryside covered in snow.
