SCU & CU Truman saying: I consider it the highest importance, that Congress authorises support for the European Recovery Programme from 1st April, 1948 to 30th June, 1952, with the initial amount of 600 billion dollars. I urge the Congress to act promptly on this vital measure if our foreign policy on this disease is to be a contribution to world peace. Key scene is library material.
