The men were addressed by Foreign Secretary, Ernest Bevin, and ‘Monty’. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS Elevated GV of crowds inside Hall. MS Vera Lynn singing Lili Marlene. Pan to audience. Cut-ins of men singing. GV Monty on platform. Bevin seated behind him. SV-SCU Monty addressing audience. Cut-ins of SCU men listening.
