- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: China Floods. DESCRIPTION: The disastrous floods in the Canton region of China have made many homeless. SHOTLIST: KS Aerial shot of flooded city. Passing through flooded streets, shows houses partly washed away, wrecked etc. Inhabitants in boats with their belongings. Chinamen, all ages passing sod hand to hand to block gaps in the dykes. Men drive stakes into ground. Various shots of rice fields, show men with scythes, salvaging what rice they can, loading same onto boats. Men unload boats at banks. Chinese men, women and children queue for food. Issuing cooked foods to same, rice, beans etc. CU Small child eating cooked foods. Women walk away from queues with plates of food.
