Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Princess Elizabeth With Girl Guides. DESCRIPTION: Princess Elizabeth reviews a march past of Girl Guides in the Mall. SHOTLIST: KS GV the Mall crowded with Girl Guides etc. Princess Elizabeth wearing uniform of Chief Ranger of British Empire shakes hands with Olave, Lady Baden Powell, followed by Princess Margaret in Sea Rangers uniform. MS Princesses on dais with Lady Baden Powell. Marchpast of Girl Guides walking towards camera, many countries represented, each country carrying their name on banner. On their arrival the Princesses shake hands with their left hands. Several shots of marchpast into and out of camera, cut-ins of crowds. Boy Scouts were also in the parade, Royal car drives along crowded Mall, people surge forward. Mounted policeman’s horse rather restless.
