MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: First Test Match . South Africans Versus England. DESCRIPTION: The last three days of the Test provided quite a few sensations, the second day saw South Africa all out for a record score. Melville became one of the few who have scored a century in both innings in a Test Match. SHOTLIST: Cut For South Africa - KS GV and pan of cricket pitch, crowds etc. SV crowds. LS play. CU types watching cricket. GV crowds. CU Hollies bowling to Dawson, Godfrey Evans stumps him. Dawson walks off. SCU Tuckett LBW to Hollies. SCU Martin bowling, Evans tries to stump Lindsay, but he is not out. SCU slips applaud, and walk towards wicket. Elevated South Africans last two batsmen walk off with England’s team.
