Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Monkeys Too Smart to Trap. DESCRIPTION: Baboons at the Chicago Zoo outwit their keepers by not getting caught in an electronic trap. SHOTLIST: KS Dozens of monkeys scrambling down rock-side. GV of cage in which there is meat to entice the monkeys in, on entering they break a ray which closes the door and naturally traps them. Monkey holds door open for another while he gets prize. Another crawls in therefore gets below the ray. One however enters, breaks ray and is trapped. Starts jumping about, eventually it’s mother and father come along and open door for it, same jumps on mother’s back and they go off, leaving empty cage.
