MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Aboard Queen Elizabeth During Maiden Voyage. DESCRIPTION: Movietone travelled on the Queen Elizabeth as she crossed the Atlantic on her Maiden Voyage. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS GV ship’s deck. Several shots of ship’s decks. Head-on shot of bows cutting the water. MS radar installation pivoting. Naval officers looking through sextants. GV passenger seated in lounge. Sir Hartley Shawcross seated in deck-chair drinking soup. Senator Connolly walks along deck. Jan Masaryk seated in chair. Molotov and Vyshinsky lean on ship’s rail. Top shot of the above with bodyguard on deck. Soviet passengers on bridge, Molotov at the wheel being instructed by Sir James Bissett. MS Bissett and Molotov with arms round one another, also includes Vyshinsky. Below deck Frances Day (actress) with some of the crew, writing her signature for them.
