Sydney Wooderson, the world famous miler, came from the back of the field to win in a British record time. SHOTLIST: KS Back view pole vaulter runs & jumps. SV CU pan of starters of 3 mile running race. CU Wooderson (17) gets into position. Elevated shot of start. Panning shot of runners all grouped up after start. Wooderson falls back into group, Slykhuis (Dutchman No 15) in lead, Wooderson comes up at mile to lead, cut-in of crowds, Dutchman again in lead, Wooderson straining to get lead near end of race, comes up & overtakes Slykhuis to win by 4 yards.
