MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Holyrood House Garden Party. DESCRIPTION: The King, Queen and two Princesses mingled with the guests on the lawns of Holyrood House Palace, Edinburgh. SHOTLIST: KS GV courtyard. Guests cars arrive at palace, into courtyard. Royal Company of Archers followed by High Constables of Holyrood House march into courtyard. Rain falling as some guests arrive, several have umbrellas up. Elevated shots of palace shows thousands of people in grounds, hundreds of cars parked in background. Ground shots of Royal Family being presented to several people, who curtsy etc. King and Princess Elizabeth walk in one direction. Queen and Princess Margaret walk in other, mingle with the crowds.
