MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Airborne Lifeboat. DESCRIPTION: At Long Beach, California they have been testing a new type of lifeboat. SHOTLIST: KS Flying Fortress has lifeboat pushed underneath carriage. Lifeboat attached to undercarriage. Flying Fortress takes off. Aerial shots of it in flight. Airborne lifeboat is dropped, parachuting down to sea, hitting water. Shot of "survivors" on raft (rowboat), clambering into lifeboat.
