MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: FA Cup Semi-Finals. DESCRIPTION: BIRMINGHAM V DERBY - The match which took place at Sheffield Wednesday’s ground resulted in a draw. BOLTON V CHARLTON - The other Semi-Final took place at Villa Park, Birmingham and resulted in a win for Charlton 2 - 0. SHOTLIST: DERBY COUNTY V BIRMINGHAM CITY - HILLSBOROUGH - KS Two captains and referee toss up. Brum win toss and kick off, Derby in white shirts and dark shorts. Derby attack Brum goal, ball passed to Carter who scores, crowds cheering, pan of crowd - very good crowd shot. More play around Brum’s goal but no more goals in first half. Crowd shot, second half, Brum attack, Edwards passes ball to Jones, who kicks same across goalmouth to Mulraney who scores easily, equalising the score. Derby v Birmingham - Draw. CHARLTON ATHLETIC V BOLTON WANDERERS - VILLA PARK, BIRMINGHAM - Elevated GS of pitch, play in progress. Shots of play, Fell, outside right passes ball across to Duffy (outside left) who drives ball straight into Bolton’s goal. Crowd shot, MS of play, Duffy gets ball and dribbles past about four Bolton players and scores - this is very good exhibition of ball control, please note, in case ever wanted. Duffy runs up pitch shaking hands with Charlton players, crowds cheer themselves hoarse. Bolton’s goalie takes ball out of net. Crowd shot to finish, pan. Charlton 2 - Bolton 0.
