- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Cheltenham Hunt ‘Chase. DESCRIPTION: The National Hunt Steeplechase at Cheltenham was won by "Prattler" in a very close finish. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS GV names of runners. Various shots of crowds, bookmakers. Elevated shot of parade in paddock, sign "jockeys to mount on ringing of bell". Jockeys mounting. The start, LS of same into camera, approaching first jump, over first jump in slow motion, over (SV) 2nd jump and into camera over 3rd jump. One horse climbs over jump. Approach 5th jump one rider falls and appears to be hurt, approach 11th jump, one horse runs through fence at side of jump. Into camera over 17th water jump, all clear same. GV Panning shot of "Prattler" (No 25), "Le Sphinx" and "Pete’s Caravan" fighting for lead. "Prattler" and "Le Sphinx" take last jump No 24. Up the straight, "Prattler" overtakes "Le Sphinx" to win the Amateur’s Grand National. Led into unsaddling ring. Elevated shot of horse steaming, being unsaddled.
