MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Monty Joins the "Winkle Club". DESCRIPTION: At Hastings Viscount Montgomery accepts membership of the Winkle Club. SHOTLIST: KS GV seafront, near pier, crowded with people. CU Hastings Lifeboat, Monty climbs into same, crowd swarms round lifeboat. Secretary of the club makes speech about presentation of winkle to Monty, Monty shakes hands with him. Monty speaks "I must admit I have never heard of the "Winkle Club" etc." Monty climbs down ladder off of lifeboat.
