Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Bananas Again. DESCRIPTION: The good ship ‘Tilapa’ arrives at Avonmouth from the West Indies with a cargo of bananas. SHOTLIST: KS "Tilapa" pass through lock. GV ship along quayside. Bananas being unloaded by conveyor belt. Lord Mayor of Bristol watches same. Bananas which were ripe trodden underfoot. CU Beryl Collins eating banana. On bridge of ship the captain shows Daphne Richards and another girl how to peel bananas. Smallest girl attempts to eat one, not knowing how, she breaks banana, MS frightened look on girl’s face. Captain holds plate of bananas.
