MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Brussels Honours Guards Arm’d Division. DESCRIPTION: Recent ceremonies in Brussels included the tribute paid by the Guards to Belgium’s Unknown soldier, near the Congress Column. At another ceremony, which was attended by Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, the city honoured the Guards Division. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. GV base of Belgian Congress Column, tilt to top. Guards Pipe Band slow march to Tomb. General Adair lays wreath on same. LS guard slow marching. In front of the Palais de Justice, cars arrive with Sir Hugh Knatchbull-Huggesson (British Ambassador to Belgium), Queen Mother follows. MS of both on dais standing together. The square in front of the Palais de Justice is Place Poolaert, van de Meulebroeck, the Burgomaster of Brussels presents colours to Guards. Various shots of Guards marching through streets of Brussels, all angles including elevated shot of long column of them, which is excellent, please note. Guards led by band march into camera. CU General Adair taking salute.
