- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Meteor on Show to the Danes. DESCRIPTION: The first newsreel pictures to be released of one of Britain’s jet propelled fighters. The plane was on show to the people of Denmark at a big display that was attended by the Queen of Denmark. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. GV "Meteor". Shots of "Meteor" from all angles. Also SCU of various parts of the machine; pilot in cockpit. Several "Meteors" take off one after the other. Aerial shots of plane demonstrating its advantages, etc. In Copenhagen, air display, WAAFs band, march onto parade ground, various shots of them playing (6ft long Danish flag). Queen of Denmark, arrives, also shot of Danish civilians watching show, again the "Meteor" swoops, dives, climbs etc. Off the coast lies a target which is shot up by Tempests, Typhoons, & Meteors, shots of Meteors in formation, also Tempests. Typhoons fire rockets at target (floating). Finish on crowds watching formation fly over.
