- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: A Little Loot - Goering’s. DESCRIPTION: Masses of valuable art treasures collected by Goering were discovered near Berchtesgaden. Paintings by Rubens, van Dyck and many other masters were amongst the haul. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. At Berchtesgaden, elevated shot of house. Workmen digging at ruins of Hitler’s home, various angle shots of same. American soldiers walk through wood, the valuables found in cave, also leaving cave with paintings, sculptures, etc. Paintings of "Adam & Eve" by Frans Floris. Loaded on lorries. Trainload of treasures found at Understein, near Berchtesgaden. Sculpture work placed on lorries. At building in town, Airborne sign outside reads "Goering’s Art Collections". Painting of "Eve" stood against wall, Goering’s Art Director show an American soldier, painting of "Portrait of a Priest" by Franz Hals. Interior shot of exhibition.
