The Channel Islands are free and the German occupiers being escorted away. The Royal proclamation restoring liberty to the Islands was read by Brigadier Snow. SHOTLIST: Cut story - GS. White Ensign. Convoy under way. Cheering crowds - waving flags. Vice Admiral Huffmeier departs. Germans stack ammunition and rifles. Brigadier Snow reads Royal Proclamation. British troops through cheering crowds - kissed. Crowds rejoicing.
