MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Enthronement of the Archbishop of Canterbury. DESCRIPTION: Dr Geoffrey Fisher is Enthroned as the 97th Archbishop of Canterbury. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. GV of Canterbury Cathedral. Procession through cloisters, over which you have a fanfare (very good sound). GV of trumpeters on steps outside Cathedral. Procession enter Cathedral. Dr Fisher escorted by Dr Hewlett Johnson, Dean of Canterbury; & Archdeacon of Canterbury make their way to St Augustine’s Chair. He the Dean inducts, installs & enthrones the Archbishop - Dr Fisher. Archbishop receives the pastoral staff. Stands up giving the blessing. Singing commences.
