- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Crimea Conference: "Yalta" (Big Three). DESCRIPTION: The winter resort of Yalta was the venue for the latest of the big three. The conference was held in the Livadia Palace and outside Roosevelt, Churchill and Stalin posed for the press. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Russian sentry parades outside palace. CU Russian/American/British flags flying at airfield. MS Molotov with Harriman, MS Harriman, Molotov, Eden and Stettinius. Field Marshal Alexander pan to Sir Charles Portal, Admiral Cunningham, Sir Alan Brooke. Russian guard of honour march past, cut-in President Roosevelt seated in jeep, next to him is Churchill. GV Landscape surrounding Livadia Palace. Stalin’s car pulls in. Stalin enters building. CU Churchill arriving wearing army uniform but Russian hat. Churchill enters palace and is received by Stalin, then joins Roosevelt seated at round table. Interior general shots. In garden the big three pose for the cameras with their Military advisors and political staff. Various shots.
