MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: War Amid Floods. DESCRIPTION: Flooding caused by the enemy blowing up dykes, means that troops in the area north of Nijmegen, Holland lead an island existence. Patrols have to be carried out by boat and there is no possibility of digging in. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Various shots of British troops wading through flooded areas. Shots of soldiers laying telephone wire. Patrols set out in canoe, shots of same out of camera. GV of surrounding flooded country.
