- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Rouen - Dieppe and Onwards. DESCRIPTION: The Canadians received a magnificent welcome when they entered Rouen. Bridges over the Seine had been cut by allied bombing, but some Germans had managed to cross and continue to Dieppe. The Canadians then returned to liberate Dieppe and with the Allies to sweep forward from there. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Cathedral. Canadians enter Rouen. Transport through the town.
