MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Lancasters Plaster V1 Platforms. DESCRIPTION: Big fleets of Lancasters and Halifaxes have been attacking the V1 sites, helping to reduce the number of ‘flying bomb’ attacks. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS "Doodlebug" flying out of camera. Air views flying bomb being shot up, eventually explodes in mid-air, explosions in slow motion. Various air views: Formation of Lancasters flying through flak & clouds. Also Halifaxes. Air View: Target indicators falling to earth, followed by bombs falling. Air Views: Target saturated with explosions. Shots of storage depots receiving direct hits.
