- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Knocking Down the Doodlebugs. DESCRIPTION: Southern England has been badly hit in the past six weeks by the "Doodlebugs". Many people, including air crew, are helping to repair the damage inflicted by these flying bombs. The American 8th Air Force filmed a pilots eye view of a "Doodlebug". SHOTLIST: Cut story - Various shots of RAF assisting in repairing houses which have suffered from blast etc. Replacing slates etc. Shot of RAF receiving drinks, some of them pilots. USAAF - Aerial shots off fighter (unseen) chasing "Doodlebug", tracers all round same, which eventually hits the mark. "Doodle-bug" blows up in mid-air.
