The increase in escorts and patrols has aided the safe passage of the convoys. SHOTLIST: Cut story - At a railway marshalling yard, somewhere in North America. Elevated shot lines of goods trains, shunting etc. Various shots of ships being loaded with cargo, meats etc. Parts of landing craft being loaded aboard. CU winch working. CU sailor another looks out of porthole. Convoy under way, with sun setting in background. LS U-Boat on surface, with our guns, sweeping her decks. U-Boat sinks.
